Floorball
All games must start on the scheduled date for bets to have action. If a game has been cancelled or postponed before its scheduled start time, or is not completed in full in accordance with regulation time, then all bets will be deemed void. All match markets will be settled on the score at the end of regulation time and will exclude overtime if played, unless stated otherwise.
If a match venue is changed then bets already placed will stand providing the home team is still designated as such. In the event of the home and away team for a listed match being reversed (swap of venue) then bets placed based on the original listing will be void.
Settlement of Wagers
Statistics provided by the official website score provider or the official website of the relevant competition or fixture will be used for the settlement of bets. Where statistics from an official score provider or official website are not available, or there is significant evidence that the official score provider or official website is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support our bet settlement.
In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.
Football
Any unplayed or postponed match will be treated as a non-runner for settling purposes, unless we can establish within a reasonable time frame – using publicly available information from governing bodies – that the game has been rescheduled within three days of the original start time in which case the bet will stand.
Any bets on a game abandoned before the completion of 90-mins will be void except for those bets where the outcome has already been determined. For example – if a game is 5-2 and is abandoned with 10 minutes left to play then over 6.5 goals will be settled as a winner, and under 7 goals settled as a loser.
Where a game is played at a venue other than the venue listed then all bets will stand providing that the home team is still designated as such. If the home and away team are reversed – i.e. the away team is now the home team – then bets placed on the original listing will be void.
If any team starts a 90 minute competitive game with less than 11 players – for any reason – all bets on that match will be made void.
Football betting with us assumes matches are conducted in a standard fashion, with 90 minutes of play across two 45 minute halves. The exception to this rule is in relation to friendly matches, where all match markets will be settled based on the actual result when the game finishes, irrespective of whether the full 90 minutes is played. We reserve the right to void bets on an event should we find it was not conducted using said ‘standard’ format.
Bet settlement will be determined by the official websites of the event or association. Where evidence from TV pictures, screenshots or match reports indicate that the official site has made an error, we reserve the right to make settlements from alternative sources. The official result announced at the end of the event will be used to settle bet results.
Decisions after the match taken by governing bodies will not count for betting purposes. Results will be taken after full time, including any injury time added by the referee. Extra time and penalty shootouts will be excluded, unless stated otherwise.
Extra Time and Penalty Shootouts
All bets are based on the extra time and penalty shootouts results only. The result at the end of full time (90 minutes plus injury time) does not count.
Outright Betting
An outright bet involves the selection of a winner in a tournament, competition, league or event – either from the onset or at any stage of the tournament, competition, league or event – prior to the conclusion of the competition, where the results are still undecided.
There are no refunds on non-starters for outright betting, and the Dead Heat Rule applies to all outright betting (see below).
Dead Heat rules
In the event of at least two competitors being declared the winner (a Dead Heat), the number of paying places remaining after clear winners are settled is divided by the number of players sharing those places.
Goalscorer Rules
Bets are accepted on 90 minutes play only.
Every effort will be made to quote first/last player to score odds for all possible participants. However, players not originally quoted will count as winners should they score the first/last goal. Bets on players not taking part in the match will be void, as will bets on first player to score where the selection comes on after the first goal is scored. All players that take part in a match will be considered runners for last player to score betting.
Please note that own goals do not count in the settlement of bets.
Transfer Special
The winning selection in Transfer Special markets will be the club to which the player is registered at the point that the next transfer window closes. The relevant transfer window closing time will be that of the original/selling club (for example if the selling club is Manchester United the close of the window will be the close of the English transfer window). We will select a list of potential clubs at its discretion. Should the player move to a club not on this list, all bets will stand. Extra clubs can be added at customers’ request.
Loan deals do not count for settlement purposes. Any pre-contracts or other similar agreements that confirm business will be completed at a date later than specified in the market will not count for settlement purposes. If a player does not move club before the close of that transfer window all bets will stand.
Next Permanent Manager
We will select a list of potential new managers at its discretion. Other selections will be available on request. Should a manager not listed be appointed, all bets will stand. Caretaker and interim managers will not count unless they complete at least five competitive games (three for international managers) and they will then be deemed the permanent manager. Should a club appoint a director of football this will not count in the settlement of permanent manager markets. In the event that a club change the structure of their management team and do not call the appointed individual first team manager, we will settle the market on the individual who is responsible for selecting the first team.
Head-to-Heads and 3-way
This is sports betting in one of its most basic forms, and asks you to place a bet on whom you think will win, lose, or draw in football. If one or more participants fail to start, all bets are considered void. At least one participant must finish the event or the bet is considered void. If all participants are disqualified or otherwise excluded, bets are void. If both participants in a head-to-head achieve the same result, and no draw odds are offered, then bets will be void. In cases with three or more participants, where two participants or more achieve the same result, then the Dead Heat rule will apply.
Over/under markets
If the total amount of goals/points etc. is exactly equal to the line quoted, and no winning line is quoted, the bets will be void.
Handicap markets
If the scores are level after the handicap has been accounted for and no odds have been offered for a handicap draw, then bets will be void.
Cards
For all markets relating to cards, the following rules apply:
- A yellow card counts as one card
- A red card counts as two cards
- Second yellow cards are ignored; therefore a maximum of three cards can be awarded per player
All markets relating to cards are for 90 minutes only, so any cards shown in extra-time do not count for settlement purposes. Cards cancelled by the referee during the match, cards shown to any non-playing staff or non-active players and cards shown before kick-off or after the final whistle do not count. Cards shown during the half-time interval count towards second half and full-time markets.
If the first cards shown involve two or more players from different teams being booked/sent-off in the same incident, bets on the market ‘First Yellow/Red Card’ will be void. Bets on players to be carded or sent off will be void if the player does not take part in the match.
Corner Betting
Corners awarded but not taken will not count for settling purposes. For example – a corner awarded but not taken before the referee blows for full time will not count. If a referee orders a corner to be retaken this will only count once.
Corners awarded in Extra Time do not count for settlement purposes.
Asian Handicap
There are three main types of Asian Handicap:
Whole Ball (e.g. Team A -0, Team A -1, Team A -2)
These are written as whole numbers with the handicap being applied to the result at the end of the match. A handicap draw here would result in a push with all stakes being returned.
Half Ball (e.g. Team A -0.5, Team A -1.5, Team A -2.5)
This type of Asian handicap removes the chance of a push and is written with half numbers. The handicap is added to the result at the end of the match.
Split Ball (e.g. Team A -0 & -0.5, Team A -0.5 & -1.0, Team A -1.0 & -1.5)
With this type of Asian Handicap, your stake is split equally between the whole ball and the half ball handicaps. Half of your stake will go on the whole ball handicap and half will go on the half ball. A handicap draw on any part of your stake here would result in a push for that part of the stake.
Aggregate Markets
Aggregate Correct Score and Aggregate Handicap are settled on the combined score of the first and second leg of a cup tie. Extra Time and away goals have no bearing on the aggregate score for settlement purposes. For example: if Bayern Munich played Juventus in a two-legged tie, and the first leg finished 1-0 to Bayern Munich (with Bayern Munich home in the first leg) and the second leg finished 2-1 to Juventus (with Juventus home in the second leg) the aggregate score of the tie would be 2-2. In this scenario a bet on Juventus +1 goal would be a winner because the handicap is added to the aggregate score to determine the aggregate handicap score. Also, 2-2 would be the winning aggregate correct score in this scenario.
Goalscorer Match Bet
Both players must start for the bet to stand. If either player does not start then all bets are void. In a 2-way market all bets are void should the outcome be a Tie.
Match Player Specials
The named player must play any part in the match for the bet to have action. If the player does not play any part, then all bets are void. This includes:
- Player to score a header
- Player to score a free-kick
- Player to hit the woodwork
- Player(s) to be booked
- Player to score from outside the box
Player Total Passes
A pass is defined as any intentional ball played from one player to another. Passes include open play passes, goal kicks, corners, and free-kicks played as a pass, but exclude crosses, keeper throws, and throw-ins. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Tackles
A tackle is defined as where a player connects with the ball in a challenge on the ground where he successfully takes the ball away from the player in possession. The tackled player must clearly be in possession of the ball before the tackle is made for it to count. When a player cuts out a pass this does not count as a tackle, this is denoted as an interception. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Shots
A shot is defined as any clear attempt by a player to score on the opponent’s goal, inclusive of all attempts that are denoted as on target, off target or blocked. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Shots on Target
A ‘Shot on Target’ is defined as any attempt on goal that:
- Goes into the net regardless of intent.
- Is a clear attempt to score that would have gone into the net but for being saved by the goalkeeper, or one that is stopped by a player who is the last man with the goalkeeper having no chance of preventing the goal (last-line block).
Shots that directly hit the frame of the goal will not count as Shots on Target, unless the ball subsequently goes into the net, resulting in a goal.
Shots blocked by another player, who is not the last man, will not count as Shots on Target.
Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Shots Outside Box
A shot outside the box is defined as any shot where the position of the ball is located outside the penalty area when the shot is taken. Any event happening on a line will be considered inside that area. For example, a shot on the penalty area line will count as being inside the box. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Crosses
A cross is defined as any intentional ball played from a wide position intending to reach a team-mate in a specific area in front of the goal. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Offsides
An offside is awarded to the player deemed to be in an offside position where a free-kick is awarded. If two or more players are in an offside position when the pass is played, the player considered to be most active and trying to play the ball is given offside. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Goals Inside Box
A goal inside the box is defined as any goal given to a player where the location of the ball when the shot is taken is inside the penalty area. Any shot taken on the penalty area line will count as being inside the box. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Total Goals Outside Box
A goal outside the box is defined as any goal given to a player where the location of the ball when the shot is taken is outside the penalty area. Any shot taken on the penalty area line will be denoted as being inside the box, and therefore will not count. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Player Shots Woodwork
Any attempt on goal which hits the frame of the goal will count towards this market, with the exception of those which hit the frame of the goal before going into the net and therefore count as goals. Any shot that hits the frame multiple times (e.g. crossbar and left post) will only count as hitting the woodwork once. Hitting the woodwork will only count for the attacking team (and hence, the player who performed the last action), even when the ball hits the frame coming from a defensive back pass. Bets will be voided if the player does not play any part in the match. All bets will be settled in accordance with official data provided by Opta.
Anytime Goalscorer Doubles
Both players must start for the bet to have action. If either player does not start then all bets are void.
Time Interval Markets
In some matches we offer markets on events occurring within a certain time period, e.g. Time of First Goal. For clarity, the first minute of the game is from 00:00 to 00:59, the eleventh minute is from 10:00 to 10:59, etc. For a bet on a goal to be scored between minute 21 and minute 30 to be a winner, a goal would have to be scored between 20:00 and 29:59 on the match clock.
Top Team Goalscorer
Goals scored in 90 minutes and extra-time count. Penalty shootout goals do not count. Dead-heat rules apply.
Tournament Totals
Total Tournament Cards – The maximum number of cards per player per match is one yellow and one red. Cards awarded in extra-time do not count. Only players on the pitch count (e.g., if a manager or a substitute on the bench is shown a card, it will not count for these markets).
Tournament Total Goals, Team Total Goals, Highest Scoring Team – For markets applying to the whole tournament, goals scored in 90 minutes or in extra-time will count. For markets referring to a particular set of fixtures on a given date(s), only goals scored in 90 minutes count. Goals scored in penalty shootouts do not count. If a game is postponed, Total Goals (for a group of games on given date(s)) will be made void.
Tournament Penalties Missed/Converted – Penalties taken in 90 minutes, extra-time and penalty shootouts all count. If a penalty has to be re-taken the previous disallowed penalty does not count.
Tournament and Top Goalscorer Doubles
The top goal scorer market will be settled on the player who has scored the most goals and not the player awarded the Golden Boot, therefore Dead Heat rules apply. For the Tournament top goal scorer, goals scored in extra-time are included, however goals scored in penalty shoot-outs are not included.
Player of the Tournament
This market is settled on the winner of Player of the Tournament (the best player of the tournament as declared by the Governing Body).
Points deduction
In the event of a points deduction, or a team going out of business, we reserve the right to void bets on the teams affected by said points deduction. Our decision will be final in such cases.
European Handicap
If the scores are level after the handicap has been accounted for, the winning selection will be the Handicap Draw. If no odds have been offered for a handicap draw, then bets will be void.
Man of the Match
Bets will be settled based on the result announced by the organising authority (e.g. FIFA for World Cup matches). Players who take any part in the match will be deemed ‘runners’. Bets on players who take no part in the match will be void. In the event of the award being presented to more than one player dead-heat rules will apply. Prices will be available upon request for players not quoted. An unquoted player will count as the winner should they receive the man of the match award.
Expected Goals
Bets will be settled based on a team’s statistical performance instead of goals. A goal value will be assigned to Corners, Shots on Target (as defined by Opta) and Cards, and the ‘winner’ is the team with the highest score. Values are as follows:
- Shot on Target = 0.2 of a goal
- Corner = 0.15 of a goal
- Yellow Card = -0.1 of a goal
- Red Card = -0.25 of a goal
For example: a hypothetical match between Team A and Team B with the relevant match statistics applied could finish as follows:
Team A | Team B | |
Shots on Target | 5 | 3 |
Corners | 4 | 1 |
Yellow Cards | 3 | 1 |
Red Cards | 0 | 0 |
Expected Goals | 1.3 | 0.65 |
In this example, Team A would be deemed the winner regardless of the actual match result.
Please Note: Any red card received as a consequence of a second yellow card will be counted as a red card only, i.e. as -0.25 of a goal, so that the maximum subtracted from a team’s score due to a single player is -0.35 (equivalent to the first yellow plus a red). Only cards shown during the first or second half of a match (including injury time) will count for settlement purposes. Cards shown after the full time whistle are excluded. Cards shown to non-players, such as managers, are excluded. Rescinded cards will not affect settlement of the market.
Only corners taken before the full time whistle will count for settlement purposes. Corners awarded before the final whistle but not taken are excluded.
All results will be settled in accordance with final match stats, as described in official Opta data.
X Player Performance
X Player Performance bets are settled based on a player’s statistical performance in a given match.
A goal value is assigned to Player Assists, Shots on Target and Cards, and the ‘winner’ is deemed the player with the highest score after the final whistle (extra time is excluded).
Goal values are as follows:
- Player Assist = 0.4 of a goal
- Shot on Target = 0.2 of a goal
- Yellow Card = -0.1 of a goal
- Red Card = -0.25 of a goal
If a player does not start the selection will be void. All results will be settled in accordance with final match stats, as described in official Opta data.
Player to Outscore the Opposition
This is a bet on who will score more goals in the match between the chosen player and the opposing team. If the chosen player does not take part in the match, bets on that player will be void. If the player plays any part in the match, bets will stand. In the case of a draw, where the chosen player scores the same amount of goals as the opposition, bets are settled as losers.
Request a Bet
All results will be settled in accordance with final match stats, as described in official Opta data.
For Bookings Points we assign points for red and yellow cards and let you bet on how many points you think there’ll be over the course of a match. A yellow card earns 10 points and a red card earns 25 points. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is consequently shown a red card, he receives a total of 35 booking points. Extra-time does not count towards the total, nor do cards shown after the final whistle. Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers, players already substituted off or substitutes not yet used do not count towards the total.
For corners betting, only corners taken will count. A corner awarded but not taken will not count for settlement purposes.
If a player does not play any part in the match, the selection will be void.
Definitions
- Player Assist
A Player Assist is defined as the final touch (pass, pass-cum-shot or any other touch) leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. If the final touch is deflected by an opposition player, the initiator is only given a Player Assist if the receiving player was likely to receive the ball without the deflection having taken place.
Own goals, direct free-kicks, direct corner goals and penalties will not count as Player Assists.
All results will be settled in accordance with final match stats, as described in official Opta data.
Football
General
Bets will be settled based on 90 minutes play according to the match officials, including injury time. Unless otherwise stated, extra time and penalty shoot-outs will not count.
In the case of ambiguity over the official result from the relevant government body, the outcome will be determined using information from independent sources.
If an official fixture lists different team details to those listed on our website (for example, substitutes, age group, gender, etc.), then all bets matched on the affected markets will be void. In all other cases, bets will stand (including instances where a team name is listed without specifying the term ‘XI’ in the name).
For markets that relate to particular statistics, including but not limited to the number of bookings given, the number of corners taken, any goalscorer or the time of a particular goal, bets will be settled using information from independent sources.
If any new information comes into the public domain within 48 hours of settlement, then we will (acting reasonably) either:
- reinstate or resettle in light of this new information; or
- wait for further information before deciding whether to reinstate or resettle the market.
Bets on markets that relate to the number of incidents to occur, such as ‘number of corners’, will be settled based on the number taken rather than awarded.
For matches that are scheduled for a duration other than the standard 90 minutes, bets will be settled based on regular time, including injury time. If a match is played in an unusual format (for example, three or four periods) then all half time markets will be void.
For any bets involving a penalty to be scored and/or missed, if there is a retake of the first penalty we will settle the market on the result of the retaken penalty. This may include several retakes until the sequence is finished.
Abandonments, Cancellations and Postponements
If a match is postponed, all undetermined bets will be void provided the match does not start before 23:59 local time (or if we believe that a match will not have started by such time) on its scheduled date.
If a match is rearranged before the scheduled kick-off date (for example, for television scheduling reasons), it will not be regarded as a postponement, and all bets will stand, as long as the rescheduled time is within 72 hours of the original kick-off time and date.
If a match starts but is later abandoned, all undetermined bets will be void provided the match is not played to a finish before 23:59 local time on its scheduled date.
Non-Runners, Withdrawals and Disqualifications
Unless otherwise stated, any player who takes the field for any part of a match will be deemed as a runner for settlement purposes. Only players not in the squad or unused substitutes will be deemed non-runners.
Change of Venue
If the venue of a match is other than is indicated on our website, bets will stand provided the match has not been switched to the opponent’s ground, in which case bets on the match will be void. However, in major international tournaments (for example, the World Cup and European Championships), all venues will be deemed neutral. If the scheduled venue of a match is changed, including if the venue changes to a new venue in a different country, all bets will stand.
Material Events
If we do not suspend a market on time for the occurrence of a Material Event (a goal being scored, a penalty being awarded from which a goal is scored or a player being sent off), we reserve the right to void bets matched after the Material Event has occurred. Voiding of these bets may take place during the event or retrospectively once a match is completed.
Video Assistant Referee (VAR)
If a Material Event is cancelled due to a determination made via a Video Assistant Referee (VAR), we will void bets as follows for such Material Event and the cancellation of it:
- For the cancellation of a goal due to VAR, bets matched between the time of the goal being scored and the time at which the Video Assistant Referee finishes the review will be voided.
- For the cancellation of a red card due to VAR, bets matched after the time at which the Video Assistant Referee commences the review will be voided.
The voiding of any such bets may take place during the event or retrospectively once a match is completed.
If a Video Assistant Referee review results in the award of a red card or penalty, such Material Event will be deemed to have occurred at the time at which the Video Assistant Referee commences a review relating to such (ultimately awarded) Material Event. In such circumstances, bets matched prior to the time at which the Video Assistant Referee commences a review will not be voided. For the avoidance of doubt, if the referee decides to award a goal, retrospectively due to VAR, bets matched between the time of the goal being scored and the time at which the VAR review is concluded will be voided unless the VAR review (and subsequent decision) does not ultimately alter the decision made by the on-field officials.
Relegation Markets
If a team is relegated from a league because, at the end of a season, it has finished within the relegation positions which are relevant to that league, bets on that team to be relegated will be settled as winning bets.
If a team is disqualified or removed from the league before the relevant season has started, all bets on the affected market will be void (and a new market will subsequently be added).
If a team is disqualified or removed from the league after the relevant season has started (or a determination is made by the relevant governing body, during the season, that the team will be thrown out or removed from the league following the season’s conclusion), all bets on the affected team will be void.
For the avoidance of doubt, if a points deduction is imposed on a team such that it finishes the season within the relegation places which are relevant to the applicable league, bets on that team to be relegated will be settled as winning bets.
The relevant season will be deemed to have started once the first league match has been played. For the purposes of this rule, markets relating to individual matches will not be deemed to be ‘affected markets’.
Time of First Goal
The first half is deemed to last 45 minutes, regardless of injury time. Also, for these markets, the ’0 – 10 Minutes’ selection covers the first 10 minutes of the match, from 0:00 until just before the clock hits 10:00; the same principle applies to each of the other selections in this market.
Top Goalscorer
Only the goals scored in the relevant league, tournament or competition will count. For example, if a player joins a club mid-season, any goals scored in a different league will not count. However, goals scored for a different club in the same league will count. Own goals will not count.
The Exchange General Rules and Market Information will apply in respect of any category of bets or markets not referred to in the Specific Sports Rules.
