E-Sports

The following is applicable to all E-Sports betting on our platform.

The start dates and times displayed on our website for E-Sport matches are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. If a match is suspended or postponed, and not resumed within 48 hours from the actual scheduled start time, then bets on the event will be voided. The exception being any bet on whether a team/player advances in a tournament, or wins the tournament, will stand regardless of a suspended or postponed match.

If the name of a player/team is misspelled, all bets will stand unless it is obvious it is the wrong player/team.

All bets will be settled using the official result as declared by the relevant governing body of the competition concerned.

If a draw option has not been made available, then extra time will count (if played).

If a player/team is given a walkover on at least one map, all bets on the moneyline, spread and totals will be voided.

If a match is not completed because of a retirement or disqualification, all bets on the outcome will be voided. For Counter-Strike matches all spread and total bets are voided if a team retires or is disqualified before all scheduled map rounds are played.

If a player/team withdraws before a tournament begins, or retire during a tournament, bets on that player/team to win the tournament or to advance in tournament, will be voided.

If the respective player/team withdraws before the tournament begins while being listed as ‘must start’, then wagers on whether a player/team advances in the tournament or wins the tournament, will be voided – this applies to all players/teams participant in the tournament. Must start means the listed player in the event must play the event.

If the announced number of maps/rounds is changed all bets on the handicap or total are voided. Bets on the moneyline (outcome of the match) will stand.

Consecutive Matches with Same Teams

In some competitions teams play twice in a double header format, back-to-back. Match betting will be offered in the same team order as per the official governing body (or HLTV.org if such a website is not available).

It is this official match order that governs settlement of two-way betting in such cases (starting times are not always fixed and they do not dictate settlement).

Handicap Betting

A spread in E-Sports can be Rounds/Maps or other counting measures dependent on the game.

Handicapping is a way of making a sports contest more even and thus more interesting as a betting object. In E-Sports betting, this is done by awarding one of the teams/players, the underdog, some maps/rounds ahead. For example:

Player Handicap Odds
Player A -1.5 2.00
Player B +1.5 1.75

If Player A wins the match by two maps or more, Player A bettors win and Player B bettors lose. If Player A wins by exactly one map or Player B wins, Player B bettors win and Player A bettors lose.

If a match is played as a ‘best of 1’ (Bo1) format, Handicap will refer to rounds. In Bo2, Bo3, Bo5, and Bo7 formats, Handicap will refer to maps played, unless described otherwise.

Total Betting

A total in E-sports can be Rounds/Maps or other counting measures dependent on the game. The total will only be referred to as the total. For example:

Market: Best of three StarCraft 2 Match
>Over 2.5 1.85
Under 2.5 1.85

If either player wins 2-0 all bets on under 2.5 will win, while bets on the over will lose. If either player wins 2-1 all bets on the over win, while bets on the under lose.

If a player/team is given a walkover on at least one map, all bets on the moneyline, spread and totals will be voided.

Live Betting

In live betting, if a map is replayed due to a draw, disconnection or similar reasons, all live bets on the respective map will be voided. The replay of the map will be treated as a separate game.

Esports

General

Bets will be settled based on the official result of the relevant league/tournament organizer.

If a series format is changed before the applicable series starts, then all markets which were in place in respect of that series prior to the time at which the format changed will be void.

If a series format is changed after that series is turned In-Play then all markets in respect of the series will be void (except for markets in respect of which the outcome had already been unconditionally determined at the point at which the series format was changed).

If a team is renamed or rebranded, all bets on that team will stand. However, we reserve the right to void any bets which have been placed in relation to a team if there is material uncertainty as to the identity of that team.

If a team is awarded one or more maps‘ advantage, the awarded maps will be disregarded for betting purposes. In such circumstances, the first map actually played will, for the purposes of map markets, be considered to be the first map of the series.

If one or more players are determined to have been cheating during a series by the relevant league or tournament organizer, all unsettled series and map markets which involved that player or that player’s team will be void.

If a map is remade (i.e. restarted) after being partially played, map markets which have been unconditionally determined at the point at which the map is remade will be settled based on the official result of the relevant league/tournament organizer. All other map markets will be settled on the basis of the newly remade map.

Abandonments, Cancellations and Postponements

If a series does not start within 48 hours of the official start date & time, then all bets on markets in respect of the applicable series will be void.

If a series starts and is later suspended or postponed, and not resumed within six hours from the actual scheduled start time, then bets on all markets in respect of that series will be void (except for bets on any markets which have been unconditionally determined prior to the point at which the series is suspended or postponed).

If a map starts but finishes prematurely, map winner markets will be settled based on the official result. Any other markets will be void unless the outcome has been unconditionally determined (at the time at which the map prematurely finishes).

Non-Runners, Withdrawals and Disqualifications

If a team is awarded a walkover in respect of at least one map by the league/tournament organizer, all markets in respect of the relevant map, or the series in which the map takes place, will be void.

The Exchange General Rules and Market Information will apply in respect of any category of bets or markets not referred to in the Specific Sports Rules. If there is any inconsistency between the Specific Sports Rules and the Exchange General Rules, the Specific Sports Rules shall prevail. If there is any inconsistency between the Market Information and either the Exchange General Rules or the Specific Sports Rules, the Market Information shall prevail.
